That's the question that I asked myself again and again.
I'm trying to find the answer when I have first heard at 14 years old. However, I'm still not sure that I can find the answer; or, there is no answer to me.
Due to reading hundreds of times Sherlock Holmes, I make myself be calm, rational, focusing on details; but it makes me become annoyed sometimes.
I'm always learning the lesson from everything happened around. Sometimes I may be a bit paranoid.
I'm trying to prove my self.
This is the mind that I generate when I was only 10 years old. At that time in elementary school, I was insulted by my classmates without reasons. I wanted to show them that I will be better than them in the future.
However, after I come here for my college life, I feel a little powerless: in some aspects, whatever I do, I cannot get respect from others because some people are much better than you even they do nothing.
Should I respect myself before I get others' respect or just think too much, or both?
